Paz y bendiciones.
2026: Franciscan Jubilee Year for
the 800th Anniversary of the Transitus of Saint Francis
Make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me bring love. where there is injury, your pardon, Lord, and where there’s doubt, true faith in you. Where there’s discouragement, let me bring hope. Where there is darkness, let me bring your light, and where there’s sadness, let me bring joy.
In this Franciscan Jubilee Year, celebrating the 800th anniversary of the Transitus of Saint Francis, we invite you to renew your heart and to let his prayer become life within us: to be instruments of peace… to bring love where there is hatred, forgiveness where there is hurt, faith where there is doubt.
To follow Saint Francis is to learn to console before seeking consolation, to understand before seeking to be understood, to love without measure, as Christ loved.
May this holy time move us, as it moved him, to walk with simplicity, reconciled and trusting in the Father. May his example inspire us to transform our community through small, humble gestures filled with the Gospel.
Peace and Blessings.
